Which FlightScope launch monitor is right for you?
FlightScope launch monitors give you real shot data at home, in the garage or on the range. We stock two models, the Mevo Gen2 and the Mevo+, and each comes in three ways to buy: the launch monitor on its own, a practice net bundle, or a simulator bundle.
FlightScope Mevo Gen2
The Mevo Gen2 uses Fusion Tracking, which combines radar and image processing to measure club and ball data. It tracks 20 data points, including ball speed, spin rate, launch angle and carry distance, plus club data such as angle of attack and spin loft. It is compact, weighs 500 g and charges over USB-C. The battery runs for up to 6 hours. See the full details on the Mevo Gen2 Launch Monitor page.
FlightScope Mevo+
The Mevo+ is a radar-based launch monitor that gives you over 20 data parameters, including carry distance, spin rate, club speed and launch angles. It covers full swing, short game and putting practice. It comes with a carry case, power adapter, USB charging cable, metallic stickers and a quick-start guide. The battery runs for up to 3 hours. Take a look at the Mevo+ Launch Monitor page for the full specification.
Mevo Gen2 or Mevo+?
Both work indoors with limited ball flight and outdoors with full ball flight, and both use the FS Golf and FS Skills apps. The main differences are the tracking technology and the battery life. The Gen2 combines radar with image processing and lasts up to 6 hours, while the Mevo+ is radar-based and lasts up to 3 hours. If you want to see how the two sit alongside other brands, our wider launch monitors range covers them all.

Practice net bundles
A practice net bundle gives you everything you need to hit into a net and see your numbers. Compare the Mevo Gen2 Practice Net Bundle and the Mevo+ Practice Net Bundle, or browse all our golf nets if you want to see the nets on their own.
Simulator bundles
Want to play courses at home? The Mevo Gen2 Simulator Bundle and the Mevo+ Simulator Bundle are built around a golf simulator setup. If you want to mix and match a different launch monitor, take a look at our golf simulator bundles, or explore golf simulator enclosures if you are planning a full space.
Playing simulator courses with your Mevo
The Mevo Gen2 works with E6 Connect (TruGolf), Awesome Golf and GSPro, and the Mevo+ is listed as compatible with those plus The Golf Club 2019 and Creative Golf 3D. Software and course options differ by product, so check the product page for what is included with your model. Both models use the free FS Golf practice app and the FS Skills challenges.
Setting up your FlightScope indoors
Space matters with any launch monitor. For the Mevo Gen2, FlightScope’s guidance on our product page is to place the unit 7 to 8 feet behind the ball and keep at least 8 feet to your impact screen, with 13 feet recommended for the most accurate ball flight and spin readings. For indoor spin readings, use RCT balls or the metallic stickers. Keep the hitting area well lit and clear of fluorescent lights, fans, fridges and air conditioning units, which can interfere with readings.
A good impact screen protects your space and gives the monitor a clean target to read, so see our golf impact screens. A quality hitting mat also helps you hit full shots at home, and you will find options in our golf hitting mats collection.
