The Optoma ZH521ST is an excellent Full HD short throw laser projector for golf simulator setups where high brightness, flexible installation, and low maintenance are important. It offers 5,300 ISO lumens brightness, 1080p Full HD resolution, a long-life DuraCore laser light source rated up to 30,000 hours, and dedicated Golf Sim and GSPro Picture Modes for realistic course colours and detail. With a short throw ratio of 0.79:1, it can be mounted closer to the impact screen than standard throw projectors, helping to reduce shadows and making it suitable for a range of golf simulator bays. However, its fixed zoom limits mounting flexibility, and its input lag is not specified, making responsiveness harder to assess for simulator play.
